Exclusive Multi-Day Trips to Tasmania

What we love about our exclusive multi-day fly fishing trips to Tasmania

It is very easy to customise the trip to meet your needs and what else you want to see of Tasmania. Come down to Tasmania for the fishing trip of a life time.

One of our Kiwi clients stated the following:

“We spent three amazing days with Jason and his team fishing three very different waters of Tasmania’s high country. Jason is a passionate, highly knowledgeable guide with deep understanding of Tasmania’s wild brown trout. We caught a lot of fish, had a lot of laughs; it was just what we were hoping for. I highly recommend putting your trust in Jason to plan your trip. We will be back.”

About our multi day trips

Welcome to one of the world’s greatest fly fishing destinations. We offer multi-day fly fishing trips in Tasmania to suit your exclusive needs. We assist you with choosing your accommodation, meals, fishing destination and length of time you spend with us whether it be fishing our lakes, our rivers or a little bit of both. Tasmania is Australia’s premier trout waters and we have the guides to cater for your needs whether you are a beginner or experienced angler.

If you like the challenge of a two, three, four or five day trip, a plan could be a day on the Great Lake, the choice of one of our iconic shallow water lakes like Little Pine Lagoon or Penstock Lagoon or both, a trip to some of our many rivers such as the Tyenna, Meander or the South Esk, or one of our secret hot spots which may be fishing well, or chasing a thumper for the day in Lake Crescent, or walking the banks of one of the nineteen lagoons. There is also the chance to travel further west to Lake Burbury for instance.

Weather conditions in Tasmania can vary daily from bright sunshine to sleety snow even in summer. Our guides have numerous plans if there are inclement weather conditions so be prepared for location changes at short notice. Our first rule is to keep you safe.

Itinerary

We recommend you arrive the afternoon before and stay at a hotel or lodge arranged by us. If you are beginners then we would suggest some casting lessons on the lawn before dinner.

Grade

We cater for groups or individuals from ages eight to eighty-eight, fit and healthy to those that require more care and attention.

This is your experience and we tailor the effort based on your needs. We can create 15km hiking fishing walks or leisurely sight fishing from a boat, so discuss your needs so we can plan your Tasmanian fishing adventure.

We would class the experience as being moderately difficult unless there is a need to make it more extreme.

Highlights

– An amazing exclusive fly fishing experience in Tasmania’s wilderness tailored with accommodation, meal and transport options. We generally choose one location per day and where possible not to return on other days, so we are looking at which day we want to venture to which waters based on weather forecasts and locations of interest.

– Choices of between two and five day packages on lakes, rivers, or both, venturing into the lowlands, the highlands, the western wilds and/or the western lakes.

– Exclusively shaped for your party of up to two or group arrangements up to eight.

– We have waders, boots, fly rods, fly reels, and most modern gear to support you and your party have a memorable experience.

– Breathtaking Tasmanian landscapes, endemic species of flora and fauna.

– Experience being off the grid for a short break.

– Also don’t worry about our wilderness; there are no BEARS! but we do enjoy watching the sea eagles and wedge tail eagles at play.
